I rode my bicycle eight miles home from the Prince concert downtown last night, and to do so I had to go over a handful of the closest thing Chicago offers to hills--bridges. It reminded me that while I love the occasional challenge of a hill while running, for bicycling they serve no purpose and are no fun!
