I'm impressed you are even going so far run/walking! When I have been off from running for a while, I literally start with one mile runs. Then 1.5 miles. Then 2. That way when I start it feels easy and it build my confidence instead of feeling like crap from the getgo.
At last now your trainings are easier. I am glad.
