6 miles
It was a good one, in any case - a very nice day, though perhaps slightly too warm for ideal running conditions - last week's interruption to training leaves me fervently grateful this week that I am able to run at all, and I will endeavor not to obsess or grumble if things do not go entirely as I wish in terms of this year's training and racing!

SO annoyed that I didn't get to run. Had a perfect window from 4:45 to 5:15, and then got sucked into children's desires.
It was a nice day for running. Glad to hear you got out.
Indeed, an injury can change one's perspective. I have made a similar deal with myself!
Becca: I almost didn't make it out the door myself, mid-afternoon laziness, only on the way in one of the building maintenance guys asked me if I was going for a run later & I said yes & had chit-chat, so I felt utterly obligated!
Leah: Yes indeed!
Shirley: I was spending much time last week thinking about all this. Running is in no sense an entitlement; but somehow it seems a more modest thing to ask to be able to run 3-4 times a week just for 4-6 miles even than to be able to train for and complete a marathon! So I really am grateful, and I will try not to have self-reproach if I am considerably slower than I first imagined when I contemplated the notion last year...
